PROTECTIVE ELEMENTS

 Protective elements are those for protecting installations, users or both simultaneously.

fuse is a device consisting of a low melting point metal filament, which is inserted in a given point of an electric installation so that it melts when the voltage exceeds a certain value that could jeopardize installation with the risk of fire.

An automatic switch is a device capable of stopping or opening an electric circuit when the intensity of the electric current flowing through it exceeds a certain value, or in which a short-circuit has occurred, in order to prevent damage to the electrical equipment. Unlike fuses, which must be replaced after a single use, the circuit breaker (can be reset once the problem that has caused its shot??/ break or deactivation has been located and repaired.
